“But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.”
Reflection
Isaiah 40:31 teaches us that waiting on the Lord is not wasted time, but an opportunity for our faith to grow deeper and our strength to be renewed. Life can leave us emotionally drained, spiritually exhausted, and uncertain about how much longer we can keep moving forward. When our own resources seem depleted, God invites us to depend on His limitless power rather than struggle to carry every burden alone. Just as an eagle rises above the winds beneath its wings, we can learn to rise above our circumstances by trusting in the One who sustains us.
