Reflection
Wisdom is presented here as something worth actively seeking and paying attention to each day. The picture of someone waiting and watching at the doorway suggests patience, consistency, and a willingness to listen before rushing into decisions. We often want immediate answers, but wisdom sometimes requires us to slow down and remain attentive to what God is teaching us. This verse reminds us that there is value in making room for God’s instruction rather than allowing the noise and distractions of life to determine our direction.
