Reflection
Wisdom is not something we are meant to hear once and then forget; it is something we are called to hold onto. This verse emphasizes how important good instruction can be, especially when life presents difficult choices and distractions. There will be moments when taking the easier path seems more appealing, but wisdom helps us recognize where those choices may lead. Godly advice can serve as an anchor when our emotions or circumstances try to pull us in another direction. Holding tightly to what is good means making a deliberate choice to protect the lessons and principles that help us live wisely.
