Reflection
God’s message in this verse begins with a reminder that fear does not have to control us because His presence is greater than whatever we are facing. When circumstances feel overwhelming, it is easy to focus on everything that could go wrong and forget that God is right there with us. He does not simply tell us to be strong on our own; He promises to give us strength when ours is running low. His help is available when we feel incapable, exhausted, or uncertain about what to do next. Knowing that God is with us can give us the courage to take another step even when we don’t feel courageous.
