Reflection
God is not distant when we are facing trouble; He is our refuge and a present source of help. This verse reminds us that we can run to Him when life feels frightening, uncertain, or overwhelming. A safe place does not necessarily mean that every problem immediately disappears, but it means we do not have to face those problems alone. God offers us a place of security where we can bring our fears, questions, and burdens without pretending to have everything figured out.
