Reflection

Psalm 91:2 is a declaration of trust made in the middle of uncertainty. Calling God our “refuge” means recognizing Him as the place where our hearts can find safety when life feels overwhelming. A fortress is strong, secure, and able to withstand attacks, and this verse reminds us that God can be that strength for us. Notice that the verse doesn’t say that difficult circumstances will never come; instead, it calls us to decide where we will place our trust when they do.
