“If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”
Reflection
One of the greatest comforts of walking with God is knowing that our failures do not have to become the end of our story. This verse invites us to approach Him honestly, without disguising our mistakes or pretending that our hearts are free from wrongdoing. Confession requires humility because it means taking responsibility for our choices instead of blaming others or making excuses. Yet God does not ask us to come before Him with a perfect record; He calls us to come with honesty and a willingness to turn back toward Him.
